Sirius Quartet
Jan. 21
08:00 pm - 10:00 pm

For over a decade the Sirius Quartet has championed innovative music. Pushing beyond the classical repertoire, these four improvisers and composers explore the grey area between contemporary classical, jazz, avant-garde, rock, metal, and world music, melting it all together and challenging conventional ideas of what a string quartet is capable of. As freelance/session musicians in the NYC area, members of the quartet have also performed alongside Lady Gaga, Sting, Metallica, Peter Gabriel, Elton John, Quincy Jones, Mary J. Blige, Bobby McFerrin, Tony Bennett, and Debby Harry.
