The Office of Communications and Public Relations, in the Division of Institutional Advancement, represents Ramapo College to alumni, parents, friends, prospective students and the general public.
Through publications, news media, events and various forms of communication, the Office informs our constituents about the quality and diversity of Ramapo’s programs, promotes campus events and informs internal and external audiences of the achievements of our students, graduates, faculty and staff.
The Office provides news and information to the media, the public and to internal audiences. Our goal is to increase the awareness of the College as an outstanding institution of higher learning.
By raising Ramapo’s visibility, the Office helps Ramapo attract and retain a diverse pool of academically talented applicants and students. Effective visibility efforts also attract and retain top teachers, scholars and artists to the faculty, while garnering the respect and support of donors and other philanthropic entities.
