200 Level Requirements
ALIT 203	Survey British Literature I	3 crs.
ALIT 215	Readings in Poetry	3 crs.
One literature course in drama		3 crs.
One literature course in fiction		3 crs.
Category Requirements (200/300 Level):
	NOTE: At least three of these courses must be at 300 level
	One course in literature written before 1800	3 crs.
	Two elective courses in literature	6 crs.
	One course in theory and process of language	3 crs.
	One course in major authors	3 crs.
400 Level Requirement
ALIT 414	Literature Seminar* or directed readings and research**	4 crs.

	Minimum 34 crs.

*Literature Seminar is not the senior seminar required for General Education.
