Congratulations on finishing your placement testing! Now that you have your results, what do they mean?<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Placement for Critical Reading and Writing (CRWT) Essay\/Reading test<\/p>

\n

This score is a combination of your Essay & Reading tests.\u00a0 You can find the grid that shows placement here: Reading\/Essay: Placement Information – Testing Center || Ramapo College of New Jersey<\/a> .\u00a0 Use the drop down for \u201cCourse placement determined by ACCUPLACER Reading\/Essay\u201d<\/p>\n

CRWT-101:<\/strong> This course is the first course in the progression for students.\u00a0 It will help build foundational skills to be successful in college level reading\/writing.\u00a0 This is a credit bearing course.<\/p>\n

CRWT-101 \u201cS\u201d:<\/strong>\u00a0 A course with an \u201cS\u201d means in that particular course you will receive extra help.\u00a0 Students will have 1 additional class meeting per week to support work in done in other class sessions.\u00a0 Think of it as a weekly tutoring session to ensure your success.<\/p>\n

CRWT-102:<\/strong> This is the course required to meet the General Education \u2013 Critical Reading & Writing requirement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Placement for Math (non Calculus) test<\/p>

MATH-022: <\/strong>\u00a0This course is a transitional math for students to prepare for a college-level course.\u00a0 It is a non credit bearing course and once complete you will move on to the 100 level college course appropriate for your major.<\/p>\n

MATH-101\/104\/106\/108 or PHIL106<\/strong>:\u00a0 These are the college level math courses, and you will take a course meet your General Education and\/or Major math requirement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Placement for Calculus test (if required for major)<\/p>

MATH-024: <\/strong>This course is a transitional math on the Calculus math track to prepare for Pre-Calculus. It is a non credit bearing course and once complete you will move to MATH110 Precalculus.<\/p>\n

MATH-110\/121\/122\/237<\/strong>: These are college level math courses in the Calculus track.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
