Whether you&#8217;re earning college credit, completing degree requirements, or taking a CLEP exam for personal or professional goals, our testing center provides a secure, professional testing environment. Located in Mahwah, New Jersey, our testing center is convenient for students throughout Bergen County, northern New Jersey, and neighboring New York communities.<\/p>\n<p>CLEP exams are nationally standardized credit by exam tests recognized by most institutions of higher education across the nation. The <a href=\"https:\/\/clep.collegeboard.org\/\"><strong>College-Level Examination Program<\/strong><\/a> gives students the opportunity to receive college credit for what they know, by earning qualifying scores on the appropriate examinations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"divider\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/rcnjrd\/images\/icons\/ramapo-arch-icom_rule.png\" alt=\"Ramapo\" \/><\/div>\n<h3>Taking CLEP at Ramapo<\/h3>\n<p><strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"568\">Non-Ramapo Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1389\" data-end=\"1480\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1480\">Students from any college or university are welcome to take CLEP exams at Ramapo College.<\/li>\n<li class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1480\">Before registering, verify with your institution that it accepts CLEP credit and determine the minimum qualifying score required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"568\">Ramapo Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ramapo students must request an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/studentsuccess\/off-campus-study-request\/\">Off-Campus Study Form<\/a> from the Center for Student Success before registering to take a CLEP exam.
