We will send you additional program details, admissions information, and event invitations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apply.ramapo.edu\/register\/ta2teach-inquiry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/apply.ramapo.edu\/register\/ta2teach-inquiry<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"divider\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/rcnjrd\/images\/icons\/ramapo-arch-icom_rule.png\" alt=\"Ramapo\" \/><\/div>\n<h2>Information Sessions<\/h2>\n<p>We will be hosting three virtual Information Sessions this Spring for prospective students employed by the following districts: Bergen County Special Services (BCSS), The Forum School, Harrington Park, Hillsdale, Jefferson Twp., Manville, Morris Union Jointure Commission (MUJC), New Milford, Ramsey, and Union Twp.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apply.ramapo.edu\/portal\/ta-to-teacher\">Register Here<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"divider\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/rcnjrd\/images\/icons\/ramapo-arch-icom_rule.png\" alt=\"Ramapo\" \/><\/div>\n<h2>Timeline<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>TATE Application Deadline for the Fall 2026 start term &#8211;\n<ul>\n<li>Priority Deadline to be considered for Scholarship &#8211; May 1st<\/li>\n<li>Final Deadline &#8211; June 1st<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Admissions decisions with scholarship awards will be sent out in the summer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"divider\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/rcnjrd\/images\/icons\/ramapo-arch-icom_rule.png\" alt=\"Ramapo\" \/><\/div>\n<h2>Admissions and Scholarship Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>All applications received by the May 1st priority deadline will be considered for the scholarship. Applications received after May 1st will be considered for the scholarship on a space available basis. There is no additional scholarship application. Scholarship amounts will range and will be awarded after a holistic review of all applicants.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be at least 18 years old<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum of 64 college\/university transferable credits earned from an accredited college or university<\/li>\n<li>Must have earned a 2.75 college\/university GPA or above\n<ul>\n<li>If your GPA is between 2.5 and 2.74, you can still be considered for admission if you have at least 64 transferable credits. In these cases, an interview may be required. This allows us to learn more about your academic background and readiness for our programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed NJ Fingerprinting and NJ Background Check<\/li>\n<li>Must be currently employed as a Teaching Assistant or Paraprofessional in the following school districts:\n<ul>\n<li>Bergen County Special Services (BCSS)<\/li>\n<li>The Forum School<\/li>\n<li>Harrington Park<\/li>\n<li>Hillsdale<\/li>\n<li>Jefferson Twp.<\/li>\n<li>Manville<\/li>\n<li>Morris Union Jointure Commission (MUJC)<\/li>\n<li>New Milford<\/li>\n<li>Ramsey<\/li>\n<li>Union Twp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be considered for the scholarship, students must submit the <a href=\"text=and%20college%20year.-,Federal%20Student%20Aid%20(FAFSA),-Financial%20Aid%20is\" rel=\"noopener\">Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA<\/a> by June 1st.<\/p>\n<p>Questions about the FAFSA can be directed to the<a href=\"\/admissions\/financial-aid-tuition\/\"> Office of Financial Aid<\/a> at <a href=\"mailto:finaid@ramapo.edu\">finaid@ramapo.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"divider\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/rcnjrd\/images\/icons\/ramapo-arch-icom_rule.png\" alt=\"Ramapo\" \/><\/div>\n<h2>Application and Supporting Documentation<\/h2>\n<p>Applicants must submit the following Application and supporting documentation:<\/p>\n<h3>Online Undergraduate Transfer Student Admissions Application<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Online Admissions application &#8211; <a href=\"\/admissions\/apply\/\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/admissions\/apply\/<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>There is a $65 application fee<\/li>\n<li>Select Fall 2026 as the entry term<\/li>\n<li>Select \u2018Elementary Education &#8211; TA to Teacher Concentration\u2019 as the academic major<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Official Transcripts from ALL Previously Attended Colleges\/Universities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Transcripts must be sent directly from your previous colleges\/universities to be counted as official.<\/li>\n<li>Transcripts can be sent electronically to admissions@ramapo.edu or mailed to:<br \/>\n<strong>Ramapo College of New Jersey<\/strong><br \/>\nAttn: Admissions<br \/>\n505 Ramapo Valley Road<br \/>\nMahwah, NJ 07430<\/li>\n<li>Transcripts from outside of the United States must be evaluated (course by course) by any <strong>current<\/strong> member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (<a href=\"https:\/\/naces.org\/members\/\">NACES<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>If you are a current RCNJ student or a RCNJ Alumni, you do not need to submit RCNJ transcripts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>One Letter of Recommendation<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic or Professional Reference<\/li>\n<li>Examples of references include &#8211; Professor, Advisor, Supervisor, Colleague, etc<\/li>\n<li>Students must enter the name and contact information for their references in the \u2018Recommendations\u2019 section of the online application. RCNJ will send an automated recommendation request on the student\u2019s behalf to the references listed in the application.
