Ramapo College – India: Development and Sustainability – Bangalore, India (spring 2015)

Hey there! My name is Alexa Torres and I am a senior at Ramapo College majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Anthropology. Spring semester of 2015 I studied abroad through Ramapo’s faculty-led program, India: Development and Sustainability. This was the best study abroad program I could have chosen. The program complimented my major and all my previous course content really well. Studying abroad is the best decision I have made in college to enhance and diversify both my academic and personal life. The combination of in-class time and excursions was the most effective way to learn and soak in the culture around me. My time in India reaffirmed my decision to major in Environmental Studies, enriched my worldview, and gave me more direction as to what I want to do and the person I want to be.
