Favorite Class
While it is hard to choose just one class to pick as my favorite, one of the most interesting classes that I have taken so far was Immigration to America with Dr. Gronbeck-Tedesco. While everyone learns about immigration through Ellis Island in high school, not everyone is made aware of the hardships that non-European immigrants had to endure decades before the immigration boom in the early 20th century. I enjoyed this class because it opened my mind to the whole history of immigration in the United States, and not just immigration during the 20th century.

Favorite Class
My favorite class so far has been Public History with Professor Urbiel. Learning about history throughout my various courses has been eye opening, but in this class I learned how the general public relates to history and how it is presented and remembered throughout communities and museums. I also took this course when Confederate Monuments were being highly debated and protested about, which made it very relevant.

Favorite Class
Contemporary International Human Rights is my favorite class that I have taken. The topics discussed in this class were incredibly relevant and eye-opening as they really touched on issues that affect the world today. The class not only helped me develop my own views and opinions on the material, but I believe I also learned so much that I could not have learned in a different class. It was also awesome that the professor was passionate about the course and truly made it all the more intriguing.
