    2019 Recipient

    Jillian Tabaka

“I am extremely proud of my academic success, but my greatest accomplishment by far is that I’ve put myself through college with the part-time jobs I’ve had over the past seven years. I see it as a privilege to be able to work and pay my own way through school, and I do my best every day to make sure I’m not wasting my energy, time or abilities,” says Jillian Tabaka of Saddle Brook, N.J. Jillian is a Communication Arts major with a concentration in Visual Communication Design, and a transfer student from Bergen Community College. She has a 4.0 GPA, is a member of Golden Key International Honours Society as well as the NJ STARS I & II programs.

At BCC, Jillian was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Judith K. Win School of Honors, as well as the F.W.O.R.D. Club. At Ramapo, she serves as the Publicity Assistant for the School of Humanities and Global Studies.

Jillian hopes to work with a creative agency in New York, and pursue a career in graphic design within the health and cosmetics industry.
