Robert Ciarletta

Bobby Ciarletta of Park Ridge, N.J. is an English and Literary Studies major. He has a 3.9 GPA and is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta Literature Honors Society, Chi Sigma Alpha Honors Society for student-athletes, and the Ramapo College Honors Program. 

At Ramapo, Bobby serves as the President of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, competes for Ramapo College’s tennis team, and works as a consultant at the Center for Reading and Writing. 

Bobby has worked for a student-faculty research position with the Mahwah Museum and conducted research with the New Jersey Council for Social Studies. 

After graduation, Bobby hopes to pursue careers in publishing, museums, libraries, or anywhere he can write, create, and would also like to continue learning at the graduate level one day.

Barnett, Barbara Memorial Scholarship

The Barbara Barnett Memorial Scholarship was established by Dr. Beth Barnett, who served as Provost of Ramapo College, in memory of her sister.  It is awarded to a Literature major with a GPA of 3.5 or greater.

This recipient is selected by the Dean of the School of Humanities and Global Studies in consultation with the Literature faculty convening group.
