Kaeli Knott of Edison, N.J. is an English and Literary Studies major. In high school, they were in their school’s National Honors Society.
At Ramapo, Kaeli has been active in the Leaders in Service program, which offers volunteer work opportunities off-campus. They also serve as a campus tour guide for the Admission Office.
Kaeli has been involved in off-campus activities, such as working as a server and host at the Mason Jar, which gives them the chance to create connections with their customers.
After graduation, Kaeli plans to receive a teaching certification to become an English teacher.
The Friends of Ramapo, founded to expand communications and foster greater understanding between Ramapo College and neighboring communities, supports the College in numerous ways each year. Through the Friends’ Endowed Scholarship Fund, scholarships are awarded to Ramapo students with outstanding academic achievements. The Friends of Ramapo also sponsor cultural events for the community, reflecting the members’ interests in promoting the intellectual, social and cultural activities on the college campus. The organization also provided significant support to the College for the Peter P. Mercer Learning Commons campaign.
