Hayley van Hoek

During her time at Ramapo, Hayley van Hoek of Paramus, NJ has become an active member of campus.  She is currently Vice President of Ramapo Pride, and in March of 2017 she will be attending the Sigma Tau Delta Literature Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. She is also a member of the Literature Honors Society and a consultant in the Center for Reading and Writing.

During the summer of 2016, Hayley worked as an intern at Hudson Pride Connections Center, an LGBTQ organization located in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The Literature major, with a concentration in creative writing, has a 3.79 GPA and will graduate in May 2017.

Barnett, Barbara Memorial Scholarship

The Barbara Barnett Memorial Scholarship was established by Dr. Beth Barnett, who served as Provost of Ramapo College, in memory of her sister.  It is awarded to a Literature major with a GPA of 3.5 or greater.

This recipient is selected by the Dean of the School of Humanities and Global Studies in consultation with the Literature faculty convening group.
