Emily Wisneski

Emily Wisneski of Denville, N.J. is a History major in the Teacher Education Program. She has a 3.96 GPA, and is on the Dean’s list. Emily is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Alpha Theta, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies.

At Ramapo, Emily has been active in several organizations and activities, including serving as captain of the Ramapo College Field Hockey team for the past two seasons, and being a member of Alpha Phi Omega, the community service fraternity. She just ended her term as President of the Professional Fraternity Council. In addition, Emily works for the Center for Student Involvement, and has worked as an Orientation leader in the Center for Student Success for the past two summers.

After graduation, Emily plans to become a middle school or high school Social Studies teacher. She would like to remain involved in field hockey, and hopefully work as a coach.

Student Affairs Division Scholarship

Rather than exchange holiday gifts with each other, some staff members in the Division of Student Affairs have pooled their resources and created this scholarship fund. The award is for students who are active in student leadership or voluntary service. Recipients are selected by a committee of staff members in the Student Affairs Division.
