Christine Zielinski

Christine Zielinski of East Brunswick, N.J. is a Literature major with a creative writing concentration. She has a 3.5 GPA.

She has published works in Trillium, Ramapo’s literature publication, worked as a Creative Writing Student Aide, and as the Treasurer for Literature Club. Christine has also worked as a teacher of ILA studies at a tutoring center for young children, and as peer editor for classmates and friends.

Christine is writing a manuscript for a book series, a project she has been working on for over six years. She hope to finish by graduation and submit for publication. “One day, I hope to start a literary empire including books for children (such as picture books), young adult novels, and adult series. I’d love to see my work on the big screen as a successful movie series.”

Barnett, Barbara Memorial Scholarship

The Barbara Barnett Memorial Scholarship was established by Dr. Beth Barnett, who served as Provost of Ramapo College, in memory of her sister.  It is awarded to a Literature major with a GPA of 3.5 or greater.

This recipient is selected by the Dean of the School of Humanities and Global Studies in consultation with the Literature faculty convening group.
