Saiff Family Scholarship

Dr. Edward Saiff has been a member of the Ramapo faculty in the School of Theoretical and Applied Science since 1972 and currently serves as Dean of the School of Theoretical and Applied Science. Mrs. Roberta Saiff joined the College staff in 1983, working in the School of Social Science and Human Services, the Office of the President, the Office of Human Resources, Institutional Advancement, the Graduation Office and the Middle States Assessment Office.

In addition to their commitment to their work at Ramapo, the Saiffs are active in campus life. Dr. Saiff has served as president of the Faculty Assembly and has taken a leadership role with the campus chapter of the American Federation of Teachers Union. Mrs. Saiff is a volunteer at the Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts. Both have been active participants on many campus committees and have been generous contributors to a number of causes on campus, from scholarships to The Fund for Ramapo College. In addition, as part of a major capital contribution, the TAS Dean’s Suite will be named the Edward and Roberta Saiff Dean’s Suite in honor of their ongoing generosity, involvement in the college’s history and dedication to Ramapo’s mission and goals.

The intent of the Saiff Family Scholarship is to recognize a junior or senior who shares a similar commitment and involvement in campus life.
