Residents will have close access to their peers who reside on campus, various college services, Public Safety Office that operates 24 hours \/ 7 days a week, and more!<\/p>\n<h2>Summer Housing Application Details<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Due date\/time:<strong> Tuesday, April 15, 2026 by 4pm.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Questions regarding summer housing can be emailed to <a href=\"mailto:reslife@ramapo.edu\">reslife@ramapo.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Questions regarding Village residence can be emailed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/reslife\/village\">village@ramapo.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/YH8WNYuTpyboPJ7QA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Summer Housing Application Form<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Summer 2026 Interim Housing<\/h2>\n<p>If you are a campus resident who currently resides in housing and have no other housing option during the timeframe in which the residence halls close for the Spring 2026 semester and reopen for the first Summer School Session that begins on May 25, 2026, you may request to reside in Interim housing from May 13, 2026 through May 24, 2026. \u00a0You (along with ALL of your belongings) will need to relocate to Interim Housing in the Village on May 13, 2026 at 3:00pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/4sFqmEdAgoZ6j3qp8\">Summer Interim Housing Request<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Interim Summer Housing Details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The charge to reside in Summer Interim Housing is $488.16.\u00a0 This charge will be assessed whether you stay for one day or the entire session.<\/li>\n<li>You will be required to check-out of your Spring 2026 housing assignment on May 13, 2026 at 3:00pm. Move-over and check-in to your Interim Housing Assignment must occur on May 13, 2026 between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. Students registered for this session must check out of their summer housing assignment and \u201cmove over\u201d to their fall 2026 housing assignment on Monday, August 17, 2026 between 9:00am \u2013 11:00am. Summer Housing rates are charged from Wednesday, May 25 through Wednesday, August 19.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Rather than having to take all personal belongings home after the summer session, residents who select \u201cEntire Summer with Move Over\u201d will move all their personal belongings from their summer assignment directly to their Fall assignment. This is NOT available to students who select any other summer housing sessions, regardless of placement.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Ramapo College Student Employee Discount<\/div><div class=\"c_content\">\n<div class=\"infoBox col-sm-12 col-lg-12  grayBox\"><div class=\"boxContent\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p data-start=\"65\" data-end=\"178\">Students employed by <strong data-start=\"86\" data-end=\"104\">Ramapo College<\/strong> are eligible for a <strong data-start=\"124\" data-end=\"148\">50% housing discount<\/strong>. To qualify, students must:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"180\" data-end=\"335\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1b2e00i\" data-start=\"180\" data-end=\"214\">Be employed by Ramapo College.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"jb1mb9\" data-start=\"215\" data-end=\"259\">Work a minimum of <strong data-start=\"235\" data-end=\"256\">15 hours per week<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1hksetd\" data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"335\">Have employment dates that <strong data-start=\"289\" data-end=\"332\">align with their summer housing session<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To receive the housing discount, the <strong data-start=\"116\" data-end=\"143\">Employment Verification<\/strong> section of the application <strong data-start=\"171\" data-end=\"192\">must be completed<\/strong>. After summer housing charges are posted to a student\u2019s account, it may take <strong data-start=\"270\" data-end=\"291\">2\u20133 business days<\/strong> for the discount to appear. Room assignments will be provided at check-in.<\/p>\n<p>Residence Life will make every effort to accommodate specific housing requests; however, they cannot be guaranteed. Roommate requests will only be considered if both students are registered for the same summer housing session.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must submit their application by the stated deadline to ensure placement prior to the start of the first session.<\/div>\n<p>Once a student has been billed and checked in, any request to change housing sessions will result in reassignment and a $100 cleaning fee.<\/p>\n<p>Students requesting housing accommodations for a medical-related condition must be approved and affiliated with the Office of Specialized Services (OSS) and notify the office of their intent to secure summer housing by April 15, 2026.\u00a0 Once a student is affiliated, OSS will notify the Office of Residence Life of any approved housing accommodations based on the medical documentation provided. Each Village Apartment is equipped with a full kitchen; therefore, residents are not required to have a meal plan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">SUMMER RETAIL DINING<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Students may purchase Ramapo Dollars by emailing <a>ramapodollars@ramapo.edu<\/a> from their Ramapo email account. The email must include the student\u2019s full name, R-Number, and the desired Ramapo Dollar amount. Requests will be processed within three business days, and a confirmation notice will be sent once the request has been processed<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><div class=\"infoBox col-sm-12 col-lg-12  maroonBox\"><div class=\"boxContent\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Students who register for summer housing must\u00a0abide by Ramapo College&#8217;s Code of Conduct as outlined in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/student-conduct\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Student Handbook<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/reslife\/guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Guide to Community Living<\/a>.
