The World of Law with Martin Kafafian for the Law and Society Speaker Series
On February 5, 2018, the Law and Society convening group invited Martin Kafafian of the Beattie Padovano, LLC law firm for a talk and discussion on the USSC case of Carpenter v. United States. Carpenter v. United States focused on cell phone tracking and Fourth Amendment rights.
Ramapo’s Men’s and Women’s Swim Team Outswim WPU
On January 30, 2018 our Men’s and Women’s Swim Team took on William Paterson University at the Adele & Reuben Thomas Pool in the Bill Bradley Center in Mahwah, NJ. Dying In Vein: The Opiate Generation
On January 31, 2018, The Center for Health and Counseling and the Student Government Association hosted a showing of the film "Dying in Vein". The film showcases a deeply personal exploration of opiate and heroin addiction through a cinema verite style that drops you directly into the lives of an addict in recovery, a couple trying to get clean, family grieving the loss of their son, and an emergency room physician trying to save one patient at a time. Through these stories, the film explores the contemporary belief of "living life pain free," and the shame and blame that exists around addiction. Keynote Speaker, Director Jenny Mackenzie, Ph.D., spoke after the film with a Q&A session.

The Office of Equity and Diversity Programs and Culturally Based Clubs and Organizations held a Welcome Back Kick-off on January 24, 2018 for campus to meet fellow students, faculty, staff, and alumni of color. All were welcome.
Meet the Greeks - Spring 2018
Students looking to join a fraternity or sorority this semester were invited to come out to "Meet the Greeks" on January 25, 2018. Meet the Greeks is an informational event where members from each of our 25 fraternities and sororities will be there to answer any and all questions about what being Greek at Ramapo means.

Learn to Ballroom Dance on Wednesdays
If you can walk, you can dance! These sessions on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. this Spring 2018 Semester will introduce you to the world of ballroom dancing.Meet new friends, gain confidence and social skills, improve your fitness and forget about work for a while. Instruction will happen in a fun, lively atmosphere; you will be surrounded by happy, smiling people and awesome music.
