Email <a href=\"mailto:ramapogreen@ramapo.edu\">ramapogreen@ramapo.edu<\/a> to request one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div id=\"t1850143455\" title=\"Beverage\" class=\"content\" tabindex=\"0\">\n<h3><strong>BEVERAGE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><strong>WATER<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide filtered water in pitchers and consider infusing it with slices of organic fruit (\u201cspa water\u201d).<\/li>\n<li>Use signage to direct people to the nearest\u00a0filtered water fountain.<\/li>\n<li>The Student Government Association has several 5 gal. water jugs available for use. To reserve them email <a href=\"mailto:sga@ramapo.edu\">sga@ramapo.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong><em>Drink Local<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Adapted from Princeton University\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/sustain.princeton.edu\/resources\/drink-local\">Drink Local<\/a>\u201d webpage.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With more than 20 filtered water bottle-filling stations at Ramapo College, students, staff and visitors have easy access to free filtered water for their reusable water bottles and mugs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong><em>Why Drink Local?<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bottled water from hundreds\u2014or even thousands\u2014of miles away is expensive and perpetuates our reliance on fossil fuels.<\/li>\n<li>Laboratory testing by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewg.org\/tapwater\/\">EWG<\/a> has found all sorts of contaminants in popular brands of bottled water \u2013 disinfection byproducts, industrial chemicals, prescription drugs and even bacteria.<\/li>\n<li>Local tap water utilities are required to test for contaminants each year and disclose the results to the public.<\/li>\n<li>Using a refillable bottle saves both money and natural resources!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong><em>What are Bottle-Filling Stations?<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Water bottle-filling stations provide you with filtered water from local sources.<\/li>\n<li>Carbon-based filters are changed out regularly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>COFFEE &amp; TEA <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Fair Trade coffee, tea, and sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Offer milk products carafes instead of individual single-use plastic servings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>OTHER <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy cold beverages in aluminum cans (water is also available in cans).\n<ul>\n<li>Unlike plastic, aluminum can be recycled an infinite number of times without any loss of quality. Nearly 75% of aluminum ever produced is still in use today.
