What Campus Outreach Does

The Public Safety Department Campus Outreach Program began in July 2014 and is now entering its 6th academic year.

These Public Safety officers (Sergeant Carissa Magnani, Officer Will Holmes, and Officer Tray Barmore) act as liaisons between the Department of Public Safety and the organizations, clubs, and groups on campus through attendance at meetings, walking through campus, conducting informational sessions, and staffing information tables in the Student Center each week throughout the semester. 

These officers are knowledgeable regarding the policies and protocols of the college as well as the organizations, clubs, and / or groups they liaison with. Additionally, Outreach officers have an excellent knowledge of the Ramapo College of New Jersey Student Handbook. 

Furthermore, the Public Safety Department is fully committed to the Mission, Vision and Value Statement of Ramapo College of New Jersey and the safety and well-being of the Ramapo College community.
