Dr. Barnett signed an affiliation agreement with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. She was joined by Dr. Kwasi Kwafo Adarkwah, vice chancellor of KNUST, Ghana.

Dr. Barnett addresses new faculty at the beginning of the fall semester.

Ramapo College entered into an affiliation agreement with  the School of International Relations of St. Petersburg University. Award winning writer of the Wall Street Journal Column “Moving On,” and co-author of the best-seller “The Last Lecture,” Jeffrey Zaslow was the guest speaker at Ramapo College’s 2009 Opening Convocation. Provost Barnett addressed 2009 Opening Convocation.

Provost Beth Barnett with former U.S. Poet Laureate Poet Robert Pinsky who held an open discussion regarding his work, life, and read excerpts from his works, including poems from his latest poetry collection, “Gulf Music.”
