Important Spring 2022 Registration Deadlines and Policies

Welcome to the Spring 2022 Semester! Please refer to Ramapo College’s Spring 2022 Operations for important semester information. In order to navigate your schedule and understand how your courses will be delivered this semester, refer to the Instructions to Determine Class Delivery Mode.

Please take a moment and review the following important deadlines that may impact your current or future course schedule. Click here to access the Independent Study and Audit Grade Request forms.

Tuesday, January 25, 2022
– Last Day to Add Courses or make schedule adjustments (drop/add) *
– Last Day to Drop Courses with 100% refund, if applicable, through Web Self Service **
– Last Day to Request Independent Study †
– Last Day to Request Audit Grade Option ‡

Tuesday, February 1, 2022
– Last Day to Drop courses with 50% tuition refund, if applicable

Wednesday, February 2, 2022         
– Last Day to Request Pass/Fail Grade Option ‡ (contact the Center for Student Success at success@ramapo.edu for approval)

Friday, February 25, 2022 
– Last Day to submit work to instructor for Incomplete grades assigned in Fall 2021 and Winter 2022 ‡

Wednesday, April 13, 2022 
– Last Day to Withdraw from a course ***

Tuesday, May 10, 2022  
– Last Day to request Incomplete grade for Spring 2022 course ‡

 

Receiving an override/permit does not automatically register you in a course – you must officially register by using the Add/Drop Classes tab and entering the CRN of the section you have been given permission to enroll in. You should log into Web Self-Service and check your course schedule carefully – changes cannot be made after the deadlines specified above. All students should log into Web Self-Service and check the courses they are taking this spring in the Class Schedule to note any changes in information, building and room location, delivery mode, dates of on-campus class meetings, and more. 

* Students may request approval for a Late Add by emailing the Office of the Registrar at reg@ramapo.edu or obtaining the blue late registration form here. The email must be accompanied with faculty approval and will be accepted until 4:00pm on Friday, January 28th. The Office of the Registrar will not request faculty approval on your behalf. There will be no exceptions to this deadline. You will not receive credit or a grade for a course that you are not officially registered for.

** Drops processed through February 1, 2022 may be done online or by emailing the Office of the Registrar at reg@ramapo.edu.

*** Course withdrawals may be processed between February 2, 2022 and April 13, 2022 either online or by emailing the Office of the Registrar at reg@ramapo.edu. You will receive a grade of a “W” in the course, which does not impact your grade point average (GPA), and there will be no refunds.
