I am writing to you to remind you of the “College and University Teaching Environment (CUTE)” survey that Ramapo College is currently participating in. If you have already completed the survey, I thank you very much for your participation. If you have not yet participated, you will receive another email tomorrow, November 3rd, from the Indiana University’s Center for Postsecondary Research with instructions on how to complete the survey. It is important that we hear from you, so that we may be informed how to better support our faculty during the current time which has required both major and minor shifts in teaching practices and course delivery.
By investigating what went well, what challenges emerged or persisted, what methods faculty successfully employed, and more, we will acquire important information that will enable us to support faculty both at present and in future times of crisis. Furthermore, participating in the CUTE survey will allow us to measure how the support and resources recently provided by the College were utilized and received by faculty, which will additionally inform us how to more efficiently and effectively address the specific and collective needs of our faculty.
The survey closes on November 20th, 2020. Survey data is completely confidential, and survey responses will be processed by the Indiana University’s Center for Postsecondary Research. If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact the Office of Institutional Research at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I strongly encourage you to complete the survey when you receive it tomorrow or soon thereafter. Thank you in advance for your valuable participation.
