Faculty Development Day: Hands-on Canvas Workshop
February 12, 1:00pm – 4:00pm, AC 109
Led by Professor Michael Bitz, this hands-on workshop will guide faculty on how to use Canvas. Topics include Course Settings, Working with Modules and Pages, Adding and Importing Content, Assignments and Grading, and Discussions and Communications. Participants will work on their own courses while viewing model Canvas pages for ideas and inspiration. Register here:

Canvas Teaching Circle
ASB 223 (dates below)
Led by Professor Michael Bitz, this teaching circle focuses on the use of Canvas. Participants will share their experiences with Canvas, including their successes and challenges. We will also review the Canvas tools for content delivery, assignments, and grading. This teaching circle is also open to those interested in Canvas but not using it this semester.

Canvas Intro Workshops
ASB 223 (dates below)
Led by Professor Karl Johnson, this workshop helps faculty learn the basics of using Canvas for your course, such as navigating the platform, uploading files, adding website links, and embedding multimedia elements onto your course page. An introduction to the quiz and gradebook functions will also be provided.
