{"id":8,"date":"2023-03-01T14:50:31","date_gmt":"2023-03-01T19:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/on-campus-employment\/?page_id=8"},"modified":"2023-12-01T10:08:24","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T15:08:24","slug":"student-responsibilities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/on-campus-employment\/student-responsibilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Responsibilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Student Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Completes all necessary paperwork: Employment Form, Agreement, Tax Forms, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Understands a semester-long commitment is made upon job acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Arranges mutually satisfying work schedule with supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Reports to work on time and according to agreed upon schedule. <strong>Open time-sheet on the first day of the pay period and records hours after each shift on Web Time.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Adheres to the fifteen (15) hours per week maximum while classes are in session; twenty-nine (29) hours during breaks and vacation with supervisor&#8217;s permission.<\/li>\n<li>Must not work more than six (6) consecutive hours without taking an unpaid break of at least 30 minutes (1\/2 hour).<\/li>\n<li>Follows unit sign-in and sign-out procedures and records hours worked on College&#8217;s web-based on-line time reporting system according to the Bi-Weekly Payroll Calendar. Click <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/on-campus-employment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/386\/2023\/12\/Submitting-Timesheets-as-a-Student.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong> for instructions to complete your Student Employee\u00a0Timesheet.<\/li>\n<li>If alternate form of time reporting is submitted for three consecutive pay periods, the student could face termination from employment.<\/li>\n<li>Requests excused absence when planning to miss work.<\/li>\n<li>Performs all aspects of the job to the best of his\/her ability.<\/li>\n<li>Acts in a professional manner regarding confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Discusses all job related problems with the supervisor.
