MAHWAH, N.J. – The Krame Center for Contemplative Studies and Mindful Living at Ramapo College of New Jersey is presenting two workshops for educations that will focus on creating a “mindful school” environment for students. The workshops are designed for K-12 teachers and administrators who are interested in learning more about developing mindfulness practice as well as how to incorporate mindfulness into their classrooms.
The first workshop is a free “Mindfulness for Teachers” workshop on Thursday, February 16 from 4-6 p.m. in the Anisfield School of Business Room 420. Visit https://tinyurl.com/zxcrq8s for information.
The second workshop features an expert in the field of mindfulness in the classroom, Linda Lantieri, and a panel of K-12 educators who will share their experiences. “Creating a Mindful Classroom” is on Thursday, march 23 from 4-6 p.m. in the Student Center rooms 156-158 at Ramapo College.
