Hall describes how he enacted a pioneering vision of a sustainable campus with amazing success, overcoming obstacles, to create the greenest campus in the SUNY system.<\/p>\n<p>Note: This program is located in the Alumni Lounges<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>March 9<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #d60909\"><strong>MURRAY BOOKCHIN\u2019S SOCIAL ECOLOGY AS A PATHWAY TO SUSTAINABLE CHANGE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Janet Biehl, Author and editor<\/p>\n<p>Janet Biehl, Author of <u>Ecology or Catastrophe, the Life of Murray Bookchin<\/u>, will discuss Murray Bookchin\u2019s important contribution as the founder of Social Ecology and as a social theorist concerned with what kinds of social transformations are necessary to achieve what we call sustainability. Tracy is the head of Climate Wise Women, a group of global community leaders<br \/>\ndedicated to creating a public platform to support women\u2019s leadership on climate change. The approach of the<br \/>\norganization is to unite inspiring climate leaders from across the globe to promote the stories of how their home<br \/>\ncommunities are being impacted by climate change. The result has been powerful and personal narratives from the front<br \/>\nlines of climate impact.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>APRIL 23<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #d60909\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/mass\/post-paris-climate_agenda-2016-2\/\">THE POST-PARIS CLIMATE AGENDA<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>with leading climate activists and organizations<\/p>\n<p>The finale of this semester\u2019s Expert Practitioner Series is a Saturday conference bringing together local and global<br \/>\nactivists to discuss how the Paris Climate Agreement can be implemented, moving from promise to concrete action. The<br \/>\nevent is designed to guide and energize the region to take an active role on this meta-sustainability issue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The series is open to the campus and to the public.
