Students\u00a0who have engaged in a research oriented or creative process\u00a0under the guidance of a faculty mentor are encouraged to\u00a0submit a proposal. The selection of posters<\/span> which wi<span style=\"color: #000000;\">ll ultimately be\u00a0presented is competitive, with a limit of just two posters allowed\u00a0per\u00a0school\u00a0program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During the April 30, 2014 Scholar&#8217;s Day,\u00a0Spanish Language Studies\u00a0student, Victoria Grey,\u00a0presented her very own poster in Friends Hall! Her project\u00a0was titled\u00a0&#8220;&#8216;I feel robbed&#8217;: an exploration of the causes of the loss and maintenance of Spanish in Latin American children of the second generation,&#8221; and was directed with the help of Associate Professor of Spanish, Natalia Santamaria-Laorden.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><div class=\"divider\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/rcnjrd\/images\/icons\/ramapo-arch-icom_rule.png\" alt=\"Ramapo\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Two posters were selected to represent the work from students in Spanish in this year\u2019s scholars\u2019 day, to be held on Wednesday April 27, 2016. Stephanie Manzanares will present \u201cSanteria and Catholicism: A Critical Comparison\u201d.
