3\u00a0Steps to Creating Your ePortfolio:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

  1. Compose the text materials, examples of work, and personal reflections which you choose to include in your ePortfol<\/strong><\/span>io.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>If you are having a hard time deciding what personal and educational experiences are significant enough to include in your ePortfolio,\u00a0it may be helpful to consult with previous students, professors, and\/or advisers and ask for their input. Remember, this ePortfolio should function as a space to demonstrate your skills as well as your opinions about your progress, so remember to include all of these aspects!<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Create, edit, and organize the multimedia content you plan to present in your portfolio.<\/strong>This can include a wide variety of content\u00a0including personal photos, images\u00a0illustrating interesting experiences you have had, data tables, graphs,\u00a0or sample\u00a0exams and\/or lesson plans (for teacher education).<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Present the items collected\u00a0in steps 1 and 2 in an organized and visually compelling\u00a0format using one of the blogging websites listed\u00a0below!\u00a0<\/strong>Your ePortfolio\u00a0will be eventually\u00a0be open\u00a0to the public (i.e.\u00a0professionals and potential employers), so keep in mind how you want to present\u00a0yourself\u00a0when creating your final product.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Similarly useful are the following comparative profiles created by the University of Aukland, located in New Zealand. Also note, although it is not listed below, EduBlogs<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is another service\u00a0you may choose to use.\u00a0EduBlogs is a website\u00a0similar to those listed here, however\u00a0it\u00a0is geared more specifically toward use by students, teachers, and schools. You should also note that the\u00a0free version of EduBlogs provides\u00a0relatively limited storage space compared to several of the other providers mentioned here.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
