Golfers enjoyed spectacular weather as Ramapo Athletics hosted its first ever golf outing held at Preakness Valley Golf Course in Wayne last June.\u00a0 With a sold out event of 144 golfers, and due to the support of generous sponsors, the Roadrunners raised over $20,000 to benefit the College\u2019s 20 varsity athletic programs.<\/p>\n

Student-athletes, friends of Ramapo, alumni, families, staff and administrators enjoyed a day of golf, refreshments, friendly competition & more!\u00a0 The event continued into the evening hours as awards were presented for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and the top two winning foursomes over dinner. It was a great day to be a Roadrunner!<\/p>\n

All proceeds from the outing went directly back to the more than 400 student-athletes and varsity programs to purchase the equipment and gear every team relies on to perform its very best. Our Roadrunners can\u2019t express enough their sincere gratitude for all who were able to support the athletic programs here at Ramapo College!<\/p>\n
