Hemmert<\/strong> (Literature) was inducted into the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) Post Hall of Fame in June.\u00a0\u00a0 He was honored for his advocacy of the post production industry and for his professional accomplishments as co-founder of Crew Cuts, a film editing and post-production company.\u00a0 Clayton was president of the organization\u2019s New York Chapter board before becoming president of its International Board in 2014, a post he held until 2016.<\/p><h3>1977<\/h3><p><strong>Alison Banks-Moore<\/strong> (Contemporary Arts) was recognized at the 18th Annual National Diversity and Leadership Conference that took place in April.\u00a0 Alison is vice president and chief diversity officer for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.\u00a0\u00a0 Alison is a member of the RCJNJ Foundation board of governors.<\/p><h3>1979<\/h3><p><strong>William A. Hanisch, Jr.<\/strong> (Biology) was recently inducted into the Butler High School Hall of Fame along with seven other distinguished alumni.\u00a0 William is retired principal of Butler High School where he also taught science and served as assistant coach for soccer and wrestling.\u00a0 Following retirement, he served as district data manager and head of the Butler Recreation Commission.<\/p><h3>1985<\/h3><p><strong>Catherine M. Scangarella<\/strong> (Marketing) joined the advisory board of Xcelerate, Inc., a medical technology and innovation acquisition firm.\u00a0 Cathy is chief business development officer and sector lead for Life Sciences at Choose New Jersey, a nonprofit economic development organization.\u00a0 She served as deputy chief of staff to former Lt. Governor Guadagno, and director of state marketing at the New Jersey Business Action Center, among other positions.\u00a0 Cathy is a member of the Research with New Jersey advisory board and the Innovation New Jersey Coalition.\u00a0 She was named among the ROI-NJ Influencers: Women in Business and Economic Development in 2021.<\/p><h3>1986<\/h3><p><strong>Louise R. Tuchman<\/strong> (Fine Arts) was among the honorees at the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey\u2019s Women\u2019s Philanthropy spring luncheon this past May. Louise was recognized for her work on behalf of the Jewish community.<\/p><h3>1993<\/h3><p><strong>Heidi R. Thompson<\/strong> (Economics) joined the board of directors of the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation.\u00a0 Heidi owns ACE Public Relations.<\/p><h3>1994<\/h3><p><strong>Neil Stein<\/strong> (Chemistry) was profiled recently in the online publication, <em>AHL<\/em> (American Healthcare Leader). Neil is senior vice president of technology services for project management and supply chain for OrthoCarolina, a physician-owned academic orthopedic practice. The article focused on Neil's career trajectory as well as his dual roles overseeing the flow of physical products and technological innovations at the practice.<\/p><p><strong>Keith M. Dawkins<\/strong> (Communication Arts) was named president of the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios. Keith spent 17 years at Viacom (now Viacom CBS) and was elevated to the position of executive vice president at Nickelodeon. He went on to lead the golf nonprofit, The First Tee. Most recently, he founded and served as CEO of Rock Hill Media Ventures. Keith also gives back to his alma mater as a member and secretary of the RCNJ Foundation board of governors, a member of the School of Contemporary Arts alumni advisory board and the Berrie Center advisory board. He received the President\u2019s Award of Merit at this year\u2019s commencement.<\/p><h3>1997<\/h3><p><strong>Marc D. Nawyn<\/strong> (Philosophy) joined the law firm of Foley Hoag LLP's New York office as counsel in the business department. Previously, he was an associate at Kelley Drye &amp; Warren LLP. Marc earned a Master of Philosophy degree from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.<\/p><p><strong>Christopher L. Beck<\/strong> (History) has been named chief technology officer at Modere, a health and wellness consumer products company. Most recently, he was global head of IT, enterprise systems &amp; PMO at personal care products company, Harry\u2019s. Christopher has also held positions in IT management at Tapestry and at Merrill Lynch. \u00a0He is a member of the board of directors of Latino Professionals. He holds an M.S. in executive technology management from Columbia University.<\/p><h3>2001<\/h3><p><strong>Jasmine Nykole White<\/strong> (Communication Arts) is the new chief executive officer of Montgomery Community Media (MCM) in Rockville, MD. She previously served as executive director of Capital Community Media in Salem OR. Before that, Jasmine worked for Montgomery Community Media as the director of education and community engagement, and for DCTV, where she managed production services, creative services and DCTV\u2019s Youth Training Institute. Jasmine earned a Master's in film and video from American University, as well as an M.P.A. from the University of the District of Columbia. She currently serves on the national board of directors of the Alliance for Community Media.<\/p><p><strong>Courtney A. Duin-Savastano<\/strong> (MSET) was appointed principal of Anthony Wayne Middle School in Wayne. Courtney began her teaching career in Franklin Lakes after graduating from Montclair State University with a B.A. in human ecology and a concentration in early childhood education. She has held various teaching positions with the Wayne Public Schools. She obtained a second master's degree in educational leadership from Montclair State University.<\/p><h3>2003<\/h3><p><strong>Keith Suchodolski<\/strong> (Information Systems) was promoted to senior executive vice president and chief financial officer at Kearney Bank and Kearney Financial Corp. Keith had served as executive vice president and chief financial officer since 2018. \u00a0Keith holds an M.B.A. in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He serves on the Anisfield School of Business alumni advisory board.<\/p><h3>2004<\/h3><p><strong>Christopher C. Irving<\/strong> (Political Science), former superintendent of the Teaneck public schools, was named acting assistant commissioner of field services for the New Jersey State Department of Education. He holds master's degree in public policy and international affairs from William Paterson University and a doctorate in educational leadership and administration from Seton Hall University.<\/p><p><strong>Anthony N. Cimmino<\/strong> (Communication Arts) is completing his medical residency as part of the inaugural class of the Georgia South Psychiatry Residency Program in Moultrie, GA. Anthony earned an M.B.A. at Walden University. He went on to complete his medical degree at Trinity School of Medicine in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.<\/p><h3>2006<\/h3><p><strong>Sandra Jallow<\/strong> (Accounting) has been promoted to business development manager, automotive products at Monadnock Non-Wovens LLC. \u00a0The company is headquartered in Mount Pocono, PA and manufactures synthetic products for the automotive, surgical face mask and air and liquid filtration markets. She joined the company in 2016.<\/p><p><strong>Victoria M. Fernandez<\/strong> (Communications Arts and Visual Arts) has been hired as director of thriving communities at the Grunin Foundation in Toms River where she will implement programming to help the nonprofit community achieve capacity building goals as well as advance equity, diversity and inclusion. She had been acting executive director at the Institute for Ethical Leadership at Rutgers Business School. Vicki holds an M.P.A. in non-profit administration at Rutgers Newark School of Public Affairs and Administration. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards and community organizations.<\/p><h3>2008<\/h3><p><strong>Alexander R. Van Der Toorn<\/strong> (Information Systems) was promoted to senior vice president, IT network and application support manager at Lakeland Bank. Alex joined the bank in 2005 as a network analyst and was promoted several times within the IT department, becoming vice president in 2021. He is a graduate of the 2020 Lakeland Bank L.E.A.D. Program and was a recipient of the New Jersey Bankers Association 2021 Emerging Leaders Rising Star Award.<\/p><h3>2010<\/h3><p><strong>Danielle McCartan<\/strong> (Liberal Studies) was featured in a recent <em>NorthJersey.com<\/em> article about her dual roles in teaching and sports media. Danielle teaches Italian at Franklin Avenue Middle School in Franklin Lakes and also serves as an on-air host for WFAN Sports Radio. \u00a0In addition, Danielle coaches softball at the school where she teaches and is a member of the advisory board of the Italian American Baseball Foundation.<\/p><p><strong>Angelo J. Difresco<\/strong> (International Studies) has joined TEI Group as an account executive. The company installs and repairs elevators and escalators. Angelo had been employed by TK Elevator as a project manager.<\/p><h3>2011<\/h3><p>Marissa Koblitz Kingman (Literature) is an attorney and partner in the Litigation Department at Fox Rothschild LLP in Morristown. Marissa focuses her practice on white-collar criminal defense and commercial litigation.<\/p><p><strong>Laura M. Gunn<\/strong> (Communication Arts) has joined Katz Government Affairs, LLC, a professional lobbying firm based in Trenton. Laura spent four years with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, most recently as vice president of government affairs. Laura also served as a legislative liaison for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and as legislative director and chief of staff for former Assemblywoman Donna Simon; before that, she was an aide in Governor Christie\u2019s Office of Constituent Relations.<\/p><p><strong>Stephen J. Cilento<\/strong> (Business Administration) was promoted to sergeant by the Jackson Township Police Department. He joined the department in 2013 and served as a patrol office as well as a field training officer, drug recognition expert and a member of the Traffic Safety Unit. He has twice been nominated as Officer of the Year.<\/p><p><strong>Delina E. Agnosteva<\/strong> (Economics and International Business) has joined the faculty of the Smeal College of Business at Penn State as assistant professor of finance; she had been assistant professor of economics. She holds a doctorate in economics from Drexel University\u2019s LeBow College of Business.<\/p><h3>2012<\/h3><p><strong>Brad. L. Stockton<\/strong> (Business Administration) was honored this past September by <em>Broadcasting Cable Multichannel News<\/em> as one of this year\u2019s \u201cNew York 40 under 40.\u201d \u00a0Brad is senior vice president of video innovation at Dentsu Media. Before Dentsu, Brad was a media manager for Henkel, overseeing the North America beauty portfolio.<\/p><p><strong>Renee Randazzo<\/strong> (BSW) was named director of continuing care at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Senior Living community in Pompton Plains. Randazzo began her career at Cedar Crest in 2013 as a program coordinator, became assisted living manager in 2016 and after completing the company's administrator training program, she was named assistant administrator in 2021. Renee received a master's degree from Columbia University.<\/p><h3>2013<\/h3><p><strong>Jacob Edinger<\/strong> (Communication Arts) is the new assistant athletics director for facilities and event management at Saint Joseph's University. Jake had been coordinator of athletic facilities and event operations at Villanova University, prior to which he was coordinator of athletic facilities, game operations and championships at Duke University.<\/p><h3>2014<\/h3><p><strong>Megan E. Clancy<\/strong> (Communication Arts) was sworn in this past September by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office as assistant prosecutor. Previously, Megan served as a law clerk with Superior Court Judge Judith Charny. She earned a J.D. from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.<\/p><h3>2015<\/h3><p><strong>Candace Mitchell<\/strong> (Communication Arts and Literature) has joined the <em>Washington Post<\/em> as senior SEO editor. Candace previously worked for Gannett, where she led the digital production team at <em>NorthJersey.com<\/em> and <em>The Record<\/em> for several years, becoming director of digital subscription strategy for the Atlantic region.<\/p><h3>2016<\/h3><p><strong>Anthony J. Scalia<\/strong> (Communication Arts) is an independent filmmaker whose documentary short, \" Bendix: Sight Unseen,\" premiered as part of the New Jersey Film Festival this past fall. The movie tells the inspirational story of a blind single father who works as a waiter at the Bendix diner in Hasbrouck Heights and of his sons and their many accomplishments.<\/p><p><strong>Patricia B. Bergamasco<\/strong> (International Studies) joined the law firm of Chiesa Shahinian &amp; Giantomasi PC as an associate in its Litigation Group. Patricia clerked for the Honorable Zahid N. Quraishi in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and for the Honorable Richard J. Geiger in the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division. She earned a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.<\/p><h3>2017<\/h3><p><strong>Matthew M. Albano<\/strong> (Business Administration) joined Audrain Motorsport based in Newport, RI, as director of video media production. Matt had been founder and producer at Empire Films where he collaborated on projects with <em>MotorTrend<\/em>, the Sports Car Driving Association, Monticello Motor Club and Porsche Club of America among others.<\/p><h3>2019<\/h3><p><strong>Sabrina R. Santamaria<\/strong> (Political Science) graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in June and is serving as law clerk for the Honorable Joseph G. Monaghan in the Superior Court of Bergen County.<\/p><p><strong>Marco F. Fiorenza<\/strong> (Business Administration) has been hired as an assistant project manager by Deugen Development LLC. Based in Hoboken, it is a full-service real estate development and construction firm.<\/p><p><strong>Liam P. Duffy<\/strong> (Business Administration) joined the Cranford Police Department as a patrolman. While at RCNJ, Liam was captain of the baseball team.<\/p><h3>2020<\/h3><p><strong>Ryan Greff<\/strong> (Business Administration) has been appointed by Governor Phil Murphy to the New Jersey Commission on National and Community Service. Ryan manages an economic recovery program to support New Jersey's small business sector for the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at Ramapo College. He also volunteers for a number of organizations, including Boy Scouts and Young Professionals of the Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Foundation. He serves on the alumni advisory board of the Anisfield School of Business and the Ramapo College Alumni Association.<\/p><p><strong>Luke C. Ferrante<\/strong> (Political Science) was elected chair of the executive board of the Morris County Young Republicans organization. Until recently, Luke was north regional field director for Jack Ciattarelli\u2019s gubernatorial campaign.<\/p><p><strong>Joseph Bryan Barbato<\/strong> (BSW, 2018; MSW, 2020) was among 10 veterans to receive his Distinguished Military Service Medal from the Morris County Board of County Commissioners at the 2022 Morris County annual Memorial Day observance ceremony. Joseph's service has included deployments both abroad (Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain and other posts) and within the continental United States in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. \u00a0He has received numerous military medals and distinctions.<\/p><h3>2021<\/h3><p><strong>Jonathan Lee Lancaster<\/strong> (History, 2016; MAEL, 2021) received a Fulbright Distinguished Award for Teaching and participated in its research program, spending 3 1\/2 months in Vietnam studying the Vietnamese perspective on the Vietnam War. He also received a NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellowship to South Africa to study the history of apartheid. Dawkins<\/strong> (Communication Arts) was named president of the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios. Keith spent 17 years at Viacom (now Viacom CBS) and was elevated to the position of executive vice president at Nickelodeon. He went on to lead the golf nonprofit, The First Tee. Most recently, he founded and served as CEO of Rock Hill Media Ventures.
