Performs library work related to the Archives collection; does other work as assigned.<\/p>\n

Duties<\/h2>\n

  1. Responsible for assisting the Archives Librarian with all aspects of the Archives collection: shelving materials following use, adding\/updating shelflist information, maintaining integrity\/security of the collection.<\/li>\n
  2. Assists in other Archives projects as assigned by the Archives Librarian.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requirements<\/h2>\n

    Education<\/h2>\n

    Must be enrolled full time at Ramapo College of NJ.<\/p>\n

    Experience<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Prior library work experience a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Additional Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities<\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. Knowledge of Library of Congress system helpful.<\/li>\n
      2. Ability to work independently and\/or with direct supervision on assigned tasks and willingness to learn new tasks.<\/li>\n
      3. Dependability and attention to detail.<\/li>\n
      4. Able to spend long periods standing, walking, and doing moderate lifting.<\/li>\n
      5. Good computer skills, especially in MS Word & Excel.<\/li>\n
      6. Office, filing, and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
