This 5-week MBSR graduate course is a natural next step for those who have completed an 8 week MBSR program and wish to deepen their mindfulness practice.
We will explore the common obstacles that arise during mindfulness practice and learn strategies for navigating strong emotions, thoughts and feelings. We will learn heart opening practices that enhance our capacity to respond to life’s challenges with greater awareness, kindness, compassion and ease.
In each 2-hour session we will engage in mindfulness practice, gentle movement, inquiry and discussion. Taught by Beth Sandweiss, MSW, MA LPC
