Residents who do not complete the Spring 2026 Housing Intent Process will lose housing and must reapply for any future housing requests.<\/p>\n
If you decide at a later date that you would like on campus housing, you must resubmit a housing application with the required housing deposit.\u00a0 The deposit must be submitted to the Office of Student Accounts.\u00a0 Upon receipt of your Commuter application, your name will be added to the Commuter List.\u00a0 Please note: housing is not guaranteed.<\/strong><\/p>\nWHAT IS YOUR SPRING 2026 STATUS?<\/h4>\n
All residents are required to indicate their Spring 2026 housing status when completing the Spring Housing Intent Process. \u00a0Your options include:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Remaining in housing for the Spring 2026 semester:<\/strong>
\nIf you are returning for the Spring 2026 semester, you do not<\/strong>\u00a0have to take all your belongings home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>However,\u00a0<\/strong>the College is not responsible for any items that are left in the residence halls\/apartments, therefore, we encourage you take all of your valuables home.\u00a0 If deemed necessary, College officials (such as Facilities or other staff members) may need to enter your apartment\/suite\/room at any point after check-out to make any necessary repairs or assessments.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n- Withdrawing, Transferring in December 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\nIf you are not returning for the Spring 2026 semester, you must complete the Housing Withdrawal Process and follow the check-out procedures outlined by your hall office.<\/strong>\u00a0 The Housing Withdrawal Form must be completed as it is part of the Housing Withdrawal Process.\u00a0 Access to this form will be available on December 1, 2025.\u00a0 All housing related charges will be removed from your student account on or about December 5, 2025.\u00a0 <\/strong>Once you withdraw from housing you must reapply for any future housing requests as your guaranteed housing status will no longer be in effect and you will be considered a commuter.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>If you decide at a later date that you would like on campus housing, you must resubmit a housing application with the required housing deposit.\u00a0 The deposit must be submitted to the Office of Student Accounts.\u00a0 Upon receipt of your Commuter application, your name will be added to the Commuter List.\u00a0 \u00a0Spring 2026 commuter students will not be eligible to participate in Housing Selection in the Spring.\u00a0 Please note: housing is not guaranteed for those who withdraw from housing.<\/li>\n- Graduating (not returning for Spring 2026):<\/strong>
\nSimply indicate on the Spring 2026 Housing Intent Process that you are graduating.\u00a0 There is no other paperwork to complete.\u00a0 You will need to <\/strong>follow the check-out procedures outlined by your hall office.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0All housing related charges will be removed from your student account on or about December 5, 2025. <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n- Participating in Study Abroad for the Spring 2026 semester:<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>If you are participating in Study Abroad for Spring 2026 you must obtain and submit a temporary withdrawal form.\u00a0 The form can be obtained by emailing reslife@ramapo.edu.\u00a0 The temporary withdrawal form must be submitted by December 5, 2025.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>You will be guaranteed housing upon your return for the Fall 2026 semester; however, you will not be guaranteed a specific location.\u00a0 You are responsible for submitting the non-refundable housing selection deposit of $500 by February 2, 2026.\u00a0 Please note,\u00a0<\/i><\/b>you are responsible for following the Fall 2026 Housing Selection procedures which will be posted on the Residence Life web page in March 2026.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWITHDRAWING FROM SPRING 2026<\/h3>\n
The 100% refund date for withdrawing from Spring 2026 housing is January 26, 2026.<\/p>\n
