\"Canvas<\/a>Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) at Ramapo College.\u00a0A Learning Management System (LMS) is a platform used to deliver courses, and can be used for online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses. \u00a0The LMS allows instructors to post course resources, create learning activities, setup assignments, manage group work, setup a grade book, communicate with students, and more. All students are encouraged to review the resources provided below.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Student Experience<\/a> <\/strong>(18 min.)
\nLearning how to use a new Learning Management System (LMS) is probably among a long list of challenges at the start of a student’s educational journey. This is why we created the Student Experience video; as a tool to assist these new students on day one, from opening a course invitation email to how one submits an Assignment file before the due date. This video will provide new students the basics to getting started in Canvas with their personal settings, course layout and communication, and submission feedback functionality while also giving other Educational roles a glimpse from a student perspective when navigating Canvas for the first time.<\/p>\n

Canvas Student Tour<\/strong> (35 min.)
\n<\/span>This Canvas course contains self-paced series of videos to familiarize students with Canvas (including profile, communication, discussions, assignments, grades, quizzes, and more). When students\u00a0login to Canvas<\/a> they will see the “Canvas Student Tour” course on their dashboard.<\/span><\/p>\n

Passport To Canvas<\/b> – <\/span>This self-paced Canvas course provides everything<\/em> students need to know about using Canvas in your classes. Learn about communication tools, navigation, assignments, quizzes, discussion, grades and feedback, peer interactions, and the mobile app.\u00a0When students\u00a0login to Canvas<\/a> they will see the “Passport to Canvas” course listed in the announcements at the top of their dashboard.<\/span><\/p>\n
