Leadership Model – NEW
Ramapo College of New Jersey leadership model is designed to develop highly effective leaders. This model will be used for our leader’s personal and professional growth.
The Leadership Philosophy:
“We are leading ourselves so we can better lead others and together we are leading our process”
The Leadership Model will focus on three themes:
- Leading Ourselves (Self-Awareness)
- Leading Others (Collaboration with Others)
- Leading the Process (Business Acumen)
The model includes a competencies review for all managers (and any other employee in a leadership role who would like a review performed). The review will be in the form of a Competencies Score Card review (see below link under Forms). Additionally, rotating on a three year basis, the score card assessment will be supplemented by a 360 review from subordinates and peers. The assessment will be performed twice during the 2020 rating cycle, November (initial rating) and July (final rating)
