The philosophy of Ramapo College’s Learning, Development and Performance (LDP) plan, in full support of the College’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statement, is committed to enhance the current and future organizational effectiveness of Ramapo College by increasing employees’ abilities to maximize performance. We are committed to supporting the continued growth and development of Ramapo’s most valuable resource, its people.
The LDP carries out this philosophy by:
Cultivating Ramapo’s workforce and enhancing Ramapo’s organizational culture through professional development programs;
Promoting diversity to protect individuals from discrimination and harassment;
Assisting individuals in developing their interpersonal and supervisory skills;
Responding to conflict issues within Ramapo’s work units to facilitate performance management, foster team unity and productivity;
Improving the quality of work life and job satisfaction for employees;
Educating employees so they can best utilize the benefits, services, policies, and procedures of the College.
