{"id":2561,"date":"2022-01-23T21:04:19","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T02:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/health\/?page_id=2561"},"modified":"2022-01-23T21:04:19","modified_gmt":"2022-01-24T02:04:19","slug":"if-you-have-covid-19-without-symptoms-you-may-end-self-isolation-after","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/health\/covid-19-protocols\/if-you-have-covid-19-without-symptoms-you-may-end-self-isolation-after\/","title":{"rendered":"If you have COVID-19 without symptoms, you may end self-isolation after:"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Isolate for 5 full days (Day 0 is the day of the positive viral test.\u00a0 Day of the positive test is the day tested, not the day the test result was received);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If no symptoms develop, isolation can end after 5 full days (i.e., on Day 6);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If symptoms develop within one week of the positive test, the 5-day isolation period starts over with day 0 being the first day of symptoms.\u00a0 Follow recommendations for ending isolation for persons who have COVID-19 symptoms;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After your isolation has ended, wear a well-fitted mask when around others in public through Day 10, avoid travel until a full 10 days after symptoms or the date of your test, avoid high risk activities such as being with those who are immunocompromised, going to nursing homes, and avoid eating around others until a full 10 days. If unable to wear a mask around others, the isolation is 10 days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While you are required by the College to wear a face covering (days 6 through 10), you are not permitted to be in any public areas of the College where food and\/or drink is being served, including but not limited to Dining Areas, meetings, programs, or any college-sponsored program with food and\/or drink.\u00a0 Please plan to utilize grab and go.\u00a0 Do not eat or drink in public on campus, including the classroom setting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>You have been cleared by Health Services (students) or People Operations and Employee Resources (faculty\/staff).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Isolate for 5 full days (Day 0 is the day of the positive viral test.\u00a0 Day of the positive test is the day tested, not the day the test result was received);
