If you are unvaccinated or vaccinated no booster and live with someone who has COVID-19 and cannot avoid continued close contact:

  • Avoid contact with others outside the home while the person is sick;
  • You will need to quarantine for 5 days after the person with COVID-19 meets the criteria to end home isolation;
  • Monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 10 days after last close contact;
  • If COVID-19 symptoms develop, get tested and follow isolation;
  • If asymptomatic, get tested at least 5 days after the last close contact;
  • If the test is positive, follow isolation;
  • If the test is negative, you can end quarantine after day 5;
  • If testing is not available, you can end quarantine after day 5 (as long as there were no COVID-19 symptoms throughout the 5-day period)
  • After your quarantine has ended, wear a well-fitted mask when around others in public through Day 10, avoid travel until a full 10 days after symptoms or the date of your test, avoid high risk activities such as being with those who are immunocompromised, going to nursing homes, and avoid eating around others until a full 10 days.  If you are unable to wear a mask around others, the quarantine is a full 10 days.
  • While you are required by the College to wear a face covering (days 6 through 10), you are not permitted to be in any public areas of the College where food and/or drink is being served, including but not limited to Dining Areas, meetings, programs, or any college-sponsored program with food and/or drink.  Please plan to utilize grab and go.  Do not eat or drink in public on campus, including the classroom setting.
