Catherine J. Denial, author of <i>A Pedagogy of Kindness\u00a0<\/i>(University of Oklahoma Press 2024) not only noticed this trend, but has also seen how academia itself has long been competitive and individualistic with little kindness to be found. In this Teaching Circle we will read\u00a0<i>A Pedagogy of Kindness<\/i> and workshop our own courses to make them more kind. This includes adjusting syllabi, assessments, and content delivery as well as discussing how to improve classroom culture and respectful dialogue.
