Courses are encouraged in certain sequences in many majors–there is concern that this will complicate advising..<\/span><\/p>\n Enrollment Numbers:<\/b> We discussed enrollment numbers; Naseem will ask Provost Gaulden about PCCC enrollment.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b> SCCC: <\/b>3\/1 and 2\/2 (social work BSW) programs will be offered here in the fall.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unit Personnel Decisions and Procedures: <\/b>Questions have been raised about how to appeal a unit or dean\u2019s decision about a recommendation.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>Web Pages: <\/b>Some groups are updating their own and others are sending theirs to IT. FAEC agreed the college needs to identify someone in IT who can facilitate these updates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Vaccines at NJIT and Saint Peter\u2019s University: <\/b>These institutions have made arrangements for vaccines for their faculty and staff. Can Ramapo try to access a block of vaccines to raffle off to our faculty and staff?<\/span><\/p>\n Space Committee: <\/b>Ashwani Vasishth reported the committee has not met since the beginning of the pandemic.<\/span><\/p>\n FA governance review committee<\/b>: There was discussion about the role the review committee played in the past, their charge.\u00a0 The current subgroup in FAEC, led by Mia, has a similar charge.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n ARC REPORT <\/b>(Stephen Rice, Chair) <\/span> BoT The Mission Fulfillment Committee Report: <\/b>Stephen Rice will submit a brief report to Naseem.<\/span><\/p>\n Diversity Committee Report:\u00a0 <\/b>The Diversity Committee did not formally launch, there were hurdles in lack of structure\/direction and in creating boundaries between the committee\u2019s role and that of EDIC.\u00a0 FA\/FAEC will discuss further how to best proceed.<\/span><\/p>\n SUBMITTED REPORTS<\/b><\/p>\n BoT Report (<\/b>Dr. Yongbum Kim, BoT Audit Committee)<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Yongbum\u00a0 Kim provided this recap of the latest meeting on <\/span>January 14, 2021<\/span> as follows.<\/span><\/p>\n Garden State Guarantee Plan <\/b>(Stephen Larson, Professor of Finance)<\/span><\/p>\n Stephen Larson presented a review of the proposed plan by Governor Murphy to provide students in families with incomes less than $65,000, two free years of higher education. It is in the discussion phase. \n<\/span>ARC Update: <\/b>ARC is close to finishing its review of syllabus and program proposals. The committee will next turn to working on revising to the ARC manual and the ARC forms, and proposing changes to some of the submission procedures.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
