\n

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Accept your offer of admission<\/p>

\n

You must accept your offer of admission and submit a $300 enrollment deposit in order to secure a seat in the accelerated evening program.\u00a0 This process enables you to access certain functions at Ramapo, such as setting up your e-mail and registering for classes.\u00a0 Submitting your deposit as soon as possible will ensure you are on the right track for the beginning of the semester. \u00a0You may submit your deposit electronically or by postal mail.\u00a0 This deposit will be appear as a credit on your first semester’s tuition bill.<\/p>\n

You can accept your offer of admission by logging into your application using the email address and password that you created when you applied to Ramapo and following these steps:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Login to your application <\/b><\/span>https:\/\/apply.ramapo.edu\/apply\/status<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. View your acceptance letter<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. Return to your status page and click on \u201cReply to Offer of Admission\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Choose the appropriate option<\/li>\n
  5. Click the Submit Payment button and enter the appropriate payment information<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you wish to submit your deposit by\u00a0postal mail<\/strong>, simply return the Acceptance Card found in your admission packet to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. Include a check or money order for $300, payable to Ramapo College.<\/strong> \u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Activate your Ramapo College Web Self Service and email account<\/p>

    \n

    All students must set up their Ramapo Self Service and email account in order to receive mailings and announcements, and to access their bill.\u00a0 Please visit password.ramapo.edu<\/a> and click Account Activation. You will need your Ramapo R number, which can be found in your letter of admission. Please attend to this step promptly, as you will need this account to access important Orientation information.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> COVID-19 Vaccination<\/p>

    \n

    Ramapo College has a COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate for all students, regardless of age or academic program<\/strong>. Students must be in compliance with the mandate in order to register for any courses meeting on-campus. Upon deciding to enroll at Ramapo, you will be required to submit proof of vaccination to covidvaccine@ramapo.edu<\/a> in order to register for courses with an in-person component. Please review the information posted at Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement<\/a> and email covidvaccine@ramapo.edu<\/a> with any questions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Orientation: Accelerated Evening DCP students ONLY<\/p>

    \n

    New Student Orientation for Degree Completion Program students enrolling in Spring 2023 will be conducted via self-paced, online modules. An on-campus New Student Introduction is scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 6-8 pm.<\/p>\n

    Online orientation modules will be available to incoming students starting at the end of November 2022.\u00a0 For more information, please contact Trish Laprey<\/a>, Director of the Degree Completion Program at 201-684-7388 or plaprey@ramapo.edu.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Registration and advisement<\/p>

    \n

    All new incoming Degree Completion Program students will receive an individualized degree map that outlines the accelerated courses students will take in each semester. This degree map will inform registration for Spring 2023 courses; registration will begin after November 28, 2022.\u00a0 Please contact Director of the Degree Completion Program<\/a> at plaprey@ramapo.edu<\/a> with questions regarding registration.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Transfer credits<\/p>

    \n

    Students who are transferring fewer than 64 credits or who have not completed all of Ramapo’s general education requirements through transfer will be required to complete additional courses outside of the Degree Completion Program.\u00a0 Individualized degree maps will be emailed to students and will outline any additional degree requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Immunization forms<\/p>

    \n

    Per State of NJ regulations, Ramapo requires proof of MMR and Hep B vaccines as well as a negative TB test for all students under the age of 31<\/strong>.\u00a0 Any Degree Completion Program student under 31 yrs must: 1) complete and submit the RCNJ Immunization Form; and 2) present proof of immunizations. To obtain additional information and to access these forms, please visit: https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/health\/immunization-info\/<\/a>. Immunization Records must be updated and submitted to the Health Services Office promptly. If you have additional questions please contact the Health Services Office<\/a> at immunize@ramapo.edu<\/a>.\u00a0 These requirements are separate from the COIVD-19 vaccination mandate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Applying for financial aid<\/p>

    \n

    Students interested in receiving a financial aid package must complete the 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) at http:\/\/www.fafsa.ed.gov\/<\/a>. Interested students are encouraged to fill out the FAFSA promptly.\u00a0 You can find a a step-by-step visual\u00a0guide on completing\u00a0your FAFSA application at\u00a0https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/finaid\/<\/a>. Please contact the Financial Aid department at finaid@ramapo.edu<\/a> with any questions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Transcripts<\/p>

    Send your final official transcript(s) from any previous college or university indicating final credits completed and\/or graduation. Documents should be mailed to: The Office of Graduate and Adult Admissions, Ramapo College of New Jersey, 505 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

    <\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span> Testing and placement<\/p>

    \n

    Students who have not completed their Critical Reading and Writing or Quantitative Reasoning general education requirements through transfer credits may need a placement test in order to determine next steps for fulfilling either of those requirements. \u00a0Students who have earned an AS or AA from a NJ community college have completed all of their general education requirements and do not need placement tests.
