Thursday, February 13th<\/sup> at 7:30 am join the Civic and Community Engagement Center for their Christopher Barron Comic Book Making event, where students will travel to a middle school in Paterson and help 5th graders make comic books. Volunteers will attend a workshop in the morning to learn the ropes to comic book making. All are welcome to attend, however the CCEC is also looking for individuals who can speak Spanish to volunteer as well. This is a great CEC opportunity that will be a fun time for you and the children you are helping! For more information stop by their office located in SC-213 or contact the CCEC at ccec@ramapo.edu<\/a> or call extension 7586. Later, stop by Alumni Lounges at 9pm for College Programming Board\u2019s Stuff a Plush event where students will get the opportunity to make their own stuffed animals! The first stuffed animal you make will be free, and you can choose to make another cuddly friend to bring home at $5 for a small animal and $7 for a large animal. Don\u2019t miss out on this fun-filled event!<\/p>\n

Friday, February 14th<\/sup> go to Alumni Lounges at 9pm for Speed Dating and Cupcake Decorating hosted by the College Programming Board. Celebrate the holiday of love by going on speed dates with people on campus! Not into the dating scene? Come and make your own delicious cupcakes with friends! Boy or girl, single or taken, there will be activities for everyone to enjoy at this fun-filled event.<\/p>\n

Saturday, February 15th<\/sup> the Men\u2019s Volleyball team competes in a double header against Brooklyn College at 10am followed by Elmira College at 2pm. Come support your fellow roadrunners and the men\u2019s volleyball players in the beginning of their season! Then at 9pm, head over to the Alumni Lounges for the College Programming Board\u2019s Cookie in a Jar Night. If you\u2019ve got a sweet tooth, this is the event for you. Students will be able to make their own jars filled with all the ingredients you\u2019d need to make delicious cookies! Make sure to stop by!<\/p>\n

The fun doesn\u2019t end with the weekend. Every Tuesday the College Programming Board presents the Tuesday Night Live Series. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This week on February 18th<\/sup>, Jessi Campbell will be coming to campus. Jessi is a comedian who has performed at hundreds of colleges and clubs. She\u2019s done comedy routines at Gilda\u2019s LaughFest, The Boston Comedy Festival, The Great American Comedy Festival, San Francisco SketchFest, and was the People\u2019s Choice winner at the 2009 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival.
