Thursday, October 19<\/span>th <\/span>join the College Programming Board and Ramapo Music Club in J. Lee\u2019s for a special <\/span>Thursday Open Mic Night.<\/b> This event is specifically focused on acoustic performances as well as poetry, comedy, and spoken word acts. Feel free to come and perform or simply stop by and watch others perform. Food will be served! The event starts at 9:00 p.m. so we hope to see you there! <\/span><\/p>\n

Friday, October 20<\/span>th <\/span>the College Programming Board is hosting <\/span>Pumpkin Palooza<\/b>. This event will feature fun foods and activities that you will not want to miss! You can paint your own pumpkin, participate in a create a DIY apple crumb treat, as well as snack on pumpkin treats and apple cider. \u00a0We\u2019ll see you there at 10:00 p.m. in Friends Hall! <\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday, October 21<\/span>st<\/span> start your day off by heading over to the Athletic Fields to support your Roadrunners. First, the <\/span>Men\u2019s Soccer Team<\/b> has a 1:00 p.m. game against NJAC rival Rowan University. The team is celebrating senior day, so be sure to arrive early for the pregame ceremony honoring the team\u2019s seniors. Next, head into the Bradley Center for the <\/span>Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Swim Team\u2019s <\/b>first home meet of the year as they face off against Arcadia University at 2:00 p.m. Afterwards, head back outside to support the <\/span>Women\u2019s Field Hockey Team<\/b> in their game against NJAC rival Stockton University at 3:30 p.m. The Field Hockey team is also celebrating senior day, so make sure you arrive early for a pregame ceremony honoring the team\u2019s seniors. Later, stop by the Student Center for <\/span>Self Defense Classes, <\/b>sponsored by CPB at 10:00 p.m. Public Safety is hosting their Rape Aggression Defense class which will take place in the Alumni Lounges and is open to all female students. All students are also invited to attend a Krav Maga self defense class which will be held in Friends Hall. We hope to see you there! <\/span><\/p>\n

But the fun doesn\u2019t end with the\u00a0weekend! Every\u00a0Tuesday,\u00a0the College Programming Board presents the\u00a0<\/span>Tuesday\u00a0Night Live Series<\/b>. Each week features either a live performance by a comedian, musical artist, slam poet, spoken word artist or magician or an open mic night during which Ramapo students have the opportunity to showcase their talent. This Tuesday, October 24<\/span>th<\/span>, head over to Friends Hall at 9:00 p.m. for <\/span>Tuesday Night Live: Microwave, America Part Two, and Our Wits. <\/b>For a preview of Microwave\u2019s music, check out this <\/span>link<\/span><\/a>!
