Education<\/b><\/h3>\n

Nick Bizzarro (Pronouns: he\/him\/his) is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). He received his Master of Social Work from Rutgers University with a concentration in clinical social work and is currently a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Fordham University\u2019s Graduate School of Education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Relevant Experience<\/b><\/h3>\n

Nick is currently completing his doctoral internship at Ramapo College Counseling Services, where he provides individual therapy to undergraduate and graduate students. He brings over a decade of clinical experience working across diverse settings, including community mental health centers, high schools, private practice, and university counseling centers such as NYU and Fordham. He has worked with individuals, couples, and families experiencing concerns related to anxiety, trauma, identity development, relationship issues, life transitions, and stress-related challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professional Interests<\/b>
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

Nick\u2019s approach integrates relational, emotion-focused, and mindfulness-based therapies such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He is particularly passionate about trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, with a special interest in working with individuals impacted by early relational wounds, identity-based marginalization, and complex family dynamics. He strives to foster a safe, collaborative, and empowering space that helps individuals reconnect with their internal strengths and clarify their values.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personal Interests<\/b><\/h3>\n

Outside of clinical work, Nick enjoys staying active through regular physical fitness, attending live music shows, and exploring new places through travel. He also finds joy in watching films, spending time in nature, reading about human development and neuroscience, and sharing good meals with close family and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
