In this workshop, educators will learn about how the study of insects, pollination and habitat gets students excited, empathetic and aware of the natural world around them. Educators will learn practical ways to conduct scientific studies and observations of insects and beneficial wildlife and take action through garden-based practices that support pollination and habitat restoration. Through hands-on, turnkey activities, educators will gain insights on the value of biodiversity and leave ready to inspire students to participate in environmental stewardship practices and explore environmental careers, starting in their school garden.<\/p>\n
