We&#8217;re partnering with the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ssec.si.edu\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to offer a workshop on transdisciplinary teaching approaches using SSEC&#8217;s Community Research Guides, and we&#8217;d love for you to join us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Workshop Details \u2014 Wednesday, August 19, 2026<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Morning Session \u2014 \u201cTransdisciplinary Teaching for the Climate (Condensed)\u201d:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Led by the SSEC, this session introduces the Smithsonian Science for Global Goals project and a transdisciplinary approach to climate education using the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Climate Action!<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Community Research Guide.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Afternoon Session \u2014 \u201cTeaching Climate Resilience through Place\u201d:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Led by the SSEC, this session explores the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Climate Resilience!<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Community Research Guide through a place-based lens.
