The Civic and Community Engagement Center (CCEC) promotes, facilitates and organizes community service by members of the Ramapo community. In promoting service, the Center aims to support a lifetime commitment to civic engagement within the student body.

Service Trips

The Civic & Community Engagement Center (CCEC) hosts a variety of community service trips for students to attend during weekdays and weekends. Listed below are the service opportunities you can sign up for during the academic year:

Teaneck Tutoring

MEVO (Mahwah Environmental Volunteer Organization) 

House On A Hill 

Oakland Rehabilitation Center 

Dellridge Rehabilitation Center

Service Trip Information 

  • Free Transportation is provided for service opportunities from Ramapo to the service site. If you sign up for a service trip, you will be contacted by a CCEC student staff member to meet on campus the day of the trip and travel in a service van to the site.
  • If you are planning to drive yourself to a service opportunity, you must doing the following:
    • Sign up for the service opportunity on Archway
    • Complete a Travel Waiver Form within the CCEC before the service trip
    • Hand that form to a CCEC student or professional staff member
  • You must sign up on Archway to attend any of our service opportunities in advance (we recommend signing up at least 2 days before the date of the service opportunity.)
