Accounting, economics, business ethics, business law, finance, information systems, international business, management, marketing, and organizational behavior are some of the subjects that are explored as students prepare for their business careers in today\u2019s dynamic global and entrepreneurial economy. Contemporary competencies from information literacy to interpersonal skill are also developed through the core curriculum\u2019s learning goals of communication, ethics, foundation, perspectives, and reasoning. The career readiness of each student is specifically advanced through an individualized Career Pathways Program.<\/p>\n<p>Students who have completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ramapo College have been employed in multinational, national, and local organizations of all sizes, across industries, and in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. Their employers include national and local firms; corporations and entrepreneurial ventures; consultants; technology, retail, entertainment, sports, banking and other service industries; manufacturing; education; health care; nonprofits; and government. With real-time access to the world\u2019s financial data and state-of-the-art trading systems, the lab allows faculty members to give students valuable insights into how the financial and economic theories taught in the classroom apply in real financial markets.\u00a0 All business students participate in a stock market trading exercise in the core finance course.
