Join the Adelphi Orchestra for a special concert at Ramapo College’s Sharp Theater as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary composer Dmitri Shostakovich. Under the baton of conductor Kyunghun Kim, the program begins with the World Premiere of Ramapo Professor Gilad Cohen\u2019s Between the Suns, an orchestration of his chamber piece Ten Variations, which was premiered by the Nash Ensemble of London in 2011 and won international awards in the US and Europe. It will be followed by Carl Maria von Weber\u2019s Concerto for Clarinet No. 2 in E-flat major, Op. 74, featuring the talented clarinetist Kingsley Hsieh. The evening culminates in a powerful performance of Shostakovich\u2019s Symphony No. 1 in F minor, Op. 10, one of his early masterworks. Don\u2019t miss this exciting musical journey!
