The Wolves<\/span><\/i> is an exhilarating and sometimes frightening look into the world of a team of young female soccer players. These teenagers are the only inhabitants of the astroturf planet where they spend their Saturdays, and they are \u201cnot there as daughters or girlfriends or sex objects or manic pixie dream girls.\u201d They are there on their own terms, fighting to win at nationals while managing to survive high school.
